Dog Swim @ Tanjong Beach, Sentosa

Today was a very exciting & joyful day for me! Jasymn & Marcus organised a dog swim session @ Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. And this is the 1st time that baobei & me brought ah roy for an outing. Yes, you heard it right, first time outing, if you do not count bringing him for grooming, to the vet or strolling session. Its just like a family outing, coz ah roy is part of our family. (^.^)

I woke up at 7am in the morning, which I usually wouldn't do so on a weekend, hee.... Getting all ready and excited to bring him there. We didn't bring Snoopy along as Uncle said he does not like water. And probably 2 dogs would be too much for us to handle. Feel kinda bad....

We reached there at about 9 plus am, and we tested by putting ah roy in the shallow water first. And he paddled quickly! He really liked swimming, which he displayed by wagging his tail simultaneously, wahaha. After which, we put him a bit further away, and watched him swim back to the shore. He was so adorable!!! Kawaii!! It was so fun watching him swim and treading water.
Kindof regreted not using my hp to video his swimming session. And baobei's camera battery was spoilt. Luckily the rest have brought cameras along.

He is a certified Good Swimmer! :)

But the strange thing was, he does not like walking on the sand. When we put him down, expecting him to walk back to the shelter area, he does not move a single bit. Staying stationery at where he was. Alas!!! I only realised that he doesn't like it, because after we bathe him and placed him on the pavement, he actually walked & ran as per normal. And I also discovered one thing, he is very afraid of the cold. He kept shivering profusely after dipping in the sea water.

Overall, it was an enjoyable & fun session. Ah roy also gets to make some new friends. Maya, zai zai, jia jia and niu niu were all there. And breakfast (Roti prata) was provided, courtesy of Jasymn & Marcus. Thanks to them!

After the dog swim session, we went to this restaurant at Science Park, where you can bring along your pets. But its only restricted to seatings at outdoor area only. Nice ambience for a cozy, leisure afternoon lunch or coffee. After lunch, we proceed to purchase some dog stuff at Annie's pet shop located at Boon Lay shopping complex. Bought 2 dog collars, (purple & red colour) one each for ah roy & snoopy, a retractable dog leash and a dog ear wipe solution, which was recommeded by Nena.

Baobei said he was tiredz. Me too. But I thought it was such a valuable outing which we don't get to do it every other day. We should go again sometime. Btw, today's weather was damn erratic lor, early morning it was drizzling. Then sunny again. Then while eating lunch, it rained heavily. Stopped. And by the time we reached home, it rained heavily again. Weird weather indeed...

Oh, I would be uploading photos of the dog swim session later on at my multiply account.
Do add me @ http://bubbles1579.multiply.com/ inorder to view them.
I find it such a chore uploading here on the blog, as each time I would have to edit as the text seems to go hay wire after inserting pictures. And seems like I could not upload multiple pics at the same time. Can anyone enlighten me??? Hmm....

Bizzare Life....

Had BBQ at ZenSports yesterday night. Yes, you heard it right, BBQ held not at the beach or chalet, but at the car workshop, haha. And also its been a long time since I've tasted delicious BBQ chix wing. And I must really commended that the ones I had were really good. Yum Yum!!! Think they ordered from this place called BBQ wholesale or something.

We ate, drank and chatted thru the night till about 3 plus. Initially, we were chit-chatting about places to travel etc, but somehow or rather our topics drifted to encounters of the third kind... and all those strange incidents that some of them had during their holidays. Most of their encounters were at the hotels.

Frankly speaking, I absolutely abhor staying alone in a hotel room. Well, that is unless I've no choice but to. Just like last year when my boss decided to send me to Shanghai Office, ALONE. My first thought was, "I've got to sleep alone?!... arrghh..." and especially, after hearing all the frightening stories from Eileen about her strange incident once in a Taipei hotel, and of her colleagues. Alas, I thought I was gonna die of fear... ;p Yes, I hate to admit it, but as my age increases, it seems like my level of timidness increases as well. A parallel relationship, wahaha. But hey, at least I'm frank enough to say so.

But still, I guess sometimes your mind does play tricks in your head. Luckily, that trip was only for 2 nights, and the room was not eerily spacious enough. Somehow, I feel that a hotel room does not need to be too spacious. And of course, I do not mind it to be if I do not have to stay alone, hee...
Talking of that, I was wondering how will our bridal suite at the Intercon Hotel looks like? Hmm.....

Another sad news I heard from Billy during last night chit chatting. A recent true incident. The story goes, he had a customer, a malaysian guy who will always called him everyday morning to order stocks from him. But one morning, he did not get any call from him, and just as he was wondering why, he heard the bad news. He had went to desaru with his wife to take their prewedding pictures. On their way travelling back to Singapore, they met with a fatal car accident. Both the driver and photographer whom were seated infront, had miraculously survied with minor injuries, but the couple died, the guy immediately, and the gal on the way to the hospital.

The saddest part was, both died in their wedding gown and suit. And they ended up having their wedding pic for their wake. :'( What could be sadder than having a happy occassion turned into a tragic one. My immediate reaction was a gut wrenching feelings in my heart, and I silently mourned for a minute. And all of us went silent for a whilez, before we resume our chatting and joking. Guess everyone just wanted to avoid continuing with it.

How bizzare and fragile indeed life can be and how everything seems to be fated at times. We should all treasure what we have now and enjoy the moment..... for we do not know what life has instore for us. The super irony was that while writing this blog, I was listening to a string of romantic love songs with baobei, as we are selecting songs for our wedding express highlights.
